Supergen ORE Hub team

Our operational team, based at the University of Plymouth provides the day-to-day running and administration for the hub. Our team of three undertake a wide range of roles. At the heart of it, they make sure all of our activity is aligned with and meets the objectives as set out in the Hub's mission statement.

Hub Manager (Lee Richards)

Profile picThe Hub Manager manages the overarching activities and delivery of the Hub and leads and directs the operational workflow of the Supergen ORE Hub team, including the Hub Administrator and Hub Communications & Engagement Officer. This includes developing the Hub network through promotion at events and conferences, developing communications and training, and supporting Co-Director leads with the Equality Diversity and Inclusion portfolios, Early Career Researcher programme, outreach and researcher/student mentoring programme. The Hub Manager is also responsible for managing the ORE Hub Flexible Fund allocation through a transparent and trusted process, as well as liaising between the Hub Co-Directors, Advisory Board, Research Alignment Group and Hub funder.

Communications and Engagement Officer (Kirsty Henderson)

Kirsty Henderson Profile Pic2The Communications and Engagement Officer is responsible for the Hub Communications and Engagement Strategy, developing our communications channels and creating content to keep our audiences informed and engaged in what we do.  That includes news, media content and design, development of our website and the Research Landscape Interactive Tool, delivering outreach and engagement events with the support of the Hub administrator and managing our newsletter and social channels.


Hub Administrator (Barbara Fuller)

Barbara Fuller Profile Pic2Our Hub Administrator is responsible for supporting the financial organisation (including assisting with the management of flexible funds); the management and operation of administrative processes; the planning of meetings, visits, committees, and the associated budgets connected with the ORE Hub.
